Returns
We know our kit and how to fit it, and we believe we give the best advice to help you make an informed choice. We do not offer refunds for change of mind, however we can exchange your item or provide a store credit for an alternative purchase. Unsure on the sizing of your online purchase? Give us a call and we'd be happy to offer advice on the fit of shoes, boots and packs to ensure you make an informed choice.
If exchanging:
- The item must be unused and in the original packaging (we suggest trying boots on inside before wearing them outside)
- You are responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning items.
- Item must be returned within 10 working days.
- A return shipping fee will be charged for any exchanged item.
If your return fails to meet the above standards, it can be returned to sender. We are a small company, so we do not have the resources to accept used gear or gear well past our 10 day return policy.
Non-Returnable Items:
- Clearance items
- Socks & underwear
- Consumable health and personal care items
- Electronics, climbing or safety products.

Warranties
We work with the best brands who offer top warranty policies for our products, therefore we can replace your item if it is defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@mdoutdoors.co.nz and send your item to:

It will need to be sent off to be fixed or replaced with the relevant partner so do allow time for this to be resolved.
Shipping
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item in exchange for store credit. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
