Grivel Double Spring Ice Axe Leash W Screw Lock

The Grivel Double Spring is an elastic twin tether designed to keep your ice tools securely attached while climbing ice, mixed or alpine routes. It provides the freedom of leashless climbing while helping prevent the accidental loss of your tools on steep terrain.

The system attaches directly to your harness via the integrated webbing loop, while two compact carabiners connect securely to the spikes of your ice axes. Highly elastic webbing stays compact when not under tension but extends smoothly to allow unrestricted movement and full arm reach when swinging or placing tools.

Ideal for technical ice climbing and mountaineering, the Double Spring makes changing hands and swapping tools quick and effortless without restricting your climbing performance.

Important: The Double Spring is a tool retention system only. It must not be used as a personal safety tether or for belaying. The elastic tether has a maximum strength of 200kg, while the included mini carabiners are rated to 750kg and are designed solely for attaching ice tools.
